Why does Telephone need microphone access?

The microphone is used to transmit your voice during a call. Without it, the app cannot place or receive calls. Audio is sent to the person you’re calling and is not recorded or stored by us.

Why does Telephone ask for notification permission?

We use notifications to wake your phone for incoming calls, to let you know when a friend becomes available, and to keep you informed about your friends. You can change this any time in iOS Settings › Notifications.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from within the app in Settings › Delete Account. If you’d rather we handle it, email us at support@usetelephone.com and we’ll delete your account and the data associated with it.
